Our story

The things worth keeping.

Kindred Box started in the Okanagan Valley, in a kitchen, with a simple question: where did all the keepsakes go?

The recipe box in the kitchen drawer. The photo album. The letters tied with string. The things our families actually treasure were all made to be touched, written in, and handed down — and somewhere along the way, they became apps. Easier, sure. But nobody ever fought over who inherits a login.

So we're making the keepsakes again — starting with the recipe box, because the kitchen is where togetherness has always lived. Each one is built around a reason to gather: same recipes, same week, every mailbox in the family.

[PLACEHOLDER — Cody's personal founding story goes here: the specific moment, the person, the box that inspired it. One or two paragraphs, first person.]
